I went shopping recently for a generator, asked what motor was in it, most had no idea. Oh its a copy of a Briggs or a Honda most would say. I stuck to what I knew, was looking for a Loncin engine and my patience paid off. Extremely happy with my purchase, I have been using Loncin engines for many years with no failures.
